Guardian of Arashima
Description
It's this time of year. Ninjas from all over the world gather to fight on mt. Arashima to hone their skills and find the strongest ninja. Every year ninjas find a champion who guards this mountain from intruders. But times change...
Recently, japanese masters of alchemy have made potions that altered the physical capabilities of their users. These changes come at a cost however. The potions improve a selected skill but they also decrease the level of another skill. Ninjas started to use them and now - you will too... no matter the cost.
Tips and notes
- You deal double damage if you sneak up on an enemy who's scouting (they have an eye icon on their head)
- Wall jumping may seam a bit precise. To do it you press space when pressing against the wall midair. It's better to do it later than you think.
- For the web version I recommend pressing F11 so the screen scales accordingly
- The first time that you play the game in the browser you may experience a stutter upon defeating an enemy. I wasn't able to fix it but t happens only once so it won't be a gameplay problem.
Controls
- AD or left/right arrow - move horizontaly
- Space - jump, double jump, wall jump
- Left Mouse Button - attack
- E - interact
- ESC or C - pause/menu
This is my first game in Godot. I made it in a week. It's made for the Godot Wild Jam with the theme unintended consequences.
Hope you enjoy!
